United in Harmony x PPoV
United in Harmony's Camp Harmony and PPoV joined forces to create an innovative and engaging experience for 600+ children from underserved communities. This summer, campers at Camp Harmony embarked on a thrilling journalistic, multimedia adventure. Campers participated in a scavenger-hunt style activity, documenting camp life through taking photos with polaroid cameras and conducting interviews. Each cabin covered two camp activities and collected materials to create their own newspaper page.

Upon returning from their journalistic quests, campers worked together to assemble Camp Harmony's first ever Newspaper. Each page included interview quotes, photos from around camp, descriptive sentences about activities and other sensory observations.
The final product culminated in a collaborative newspaper showcasing the camp experience. Within the newspaper, there are QR codes to highlight the campers' interviews.

This project aims to foster teamwork, creativity and communication skills while providing a fun and engaging way for campers to get a taste of the world of journalism.
